Linking your Blog

I've been getting in the habit of creating a new blog to parellel each website I build.

The websites I build for profit are generally theme-specific directories. I find the best resources on a topic and create organized listing. Then I place Adsense and other themed affiliates throughout the new resource website.

Recently, I've found that creating a content blog on the same subject, and linking strategically into my themed directories, I've found both higher conversion in my affiliate sales and increased spider activity in my directory.

By creating the blog and resource directory website at the same time, I've found a much faster rate of getting my new sites indexed by the search engines.

My blogs are still to new for me to evaluate if other people are finding my blogs to any extent, or if people are finding my information useful and are spontaniously linking to my information.

That's ok though, all the work added to these blogs and my websites is cummulative. The efforts I contribute today will add to the work I did in the past, and it will remain active as a base for any future efforts. No part of your online path to financial freedom goes to waste!
